Los Angeles extra virgen olive oil awards

The Cooperative obtains an international distinction for the quality of its Extra Virgin Olive Oil Les Cabanes with DOP Les Garrigues

In 2019, the Cooperativa Agrícola Sant Isidre de Juncosa won the Bronze Medal in the category of Delicate Arbequina Oil in the XX edition of the Los Angeles Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards, in Los Angeles (California).

This competition, held from February 5 to 7, 2019, is one of the pioneering tests of olive oil in the United States and the fifth in the world, which meets the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in awarding medals to the best oils from around the world. The jury received 530 extra virgin olive oils from 302 different producers, for a total of 380 prizes. The competition received extra virgin olive oils from other countries such as Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Portugal, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay and the United States.

This award is a pride for the cooperative. The recognition of our Arbequina Olive Oil Les Cabanes represents a great step for the visibility of our product in a country like the United States and at the same time it gives added value to the well-done work by the members of the Cooperativa de Juncosa de Les Garrigues.
