Japan and Israel, two new gold medals for the Juncosa Cooperative

The Sant Isidre de Juncosa Cooperative has been awarded two new international prizes for its oil Les Cabanes. Japan and Israel represent the most recent sites where the Juncosa Cooperative’s extra virgin olive oil has taken home gold medals: at the Japan Olive Oil Prize (JOOP) 2020 in the Monovarietal category and, at the TerraOlivo IOOC, it won the Grand Prestige Gold.

These two contests aim to promote, in the Japanese and Israeli capitals, the best extra virgin olive oils from different regions and origins. This 8th edition of the JOOP was held online on 10 July, while the TerraOlivo IOOC awards took place from 29 June to 2 July in Israel, and the oil Les Cabanes left both events with the gold medal for its high quality.

These two new prizes recognise the quality of Juncosa Cooperative oil in the international sphere. Two recognitions to add to the other 13 prizes – 7 obtained just since the start of 2020 – awarded to the oil Les Cabanes at different sites around the world. Places as special as Los Angeles, Paris, China, New York, Greece, London, Japan and Israel have been witness to the high quality of Juncosa Cooperative oil, fruit of the great work and effort of the Cooperative’s members and workers.
