Les Cabanes wins the GOLD medal in London for the third year in a row

The extra virgin olive oil Les Cabanes Taste of Earth of the Sant Isidre de Juncosa Farm Coop has been awarded, for the third year in a row, the gold medal at the London International Olive Oil Competitions 2021 (LIOOC) in the Quality Category.

The aim of this event is to raise awareness on the nutritional and health-related benefits of olive oil among consumers and professionals in the world of gastronomy, as well as to promote the pursuit of quality among olive oil producers and manufacturers. The oil samples presented at the contest were anonymous and properly codified so the jury could perform a blind organoleptic tasting.

With this recognition, Les Cabanes has already accumulated a total of 21 prizes in the last three years. Just last month, it won awards at both the New York International Olive Oil Competition 2021 (NYIOOC) and the JOOP – Japan Olive Oil Prize 2021. The effort made and the attention paid by the Cooperative’s workers and partners, through every step of the manufacturing process, are key to achieving an internationally recognised oil.
