Taste of Earth, winner of the Gold-Monovarietal in Japan
The Co-op of Juncosa, yet another year, wins gold at the 2023 Japan Olive Oil Awards
The extra virgin olive oil Taste of Earth of the Sant Isidre de Juncosa Farmers’ Co-op has been awarded the Gold-Monovarietal, a prize awarded for high quality in this so highly valued product in the culinary world.
The event, held in Tokyo in the month of April, aims to promote quality EVOO of all origins to introduce it to the international market.
The JOOP, considered one of the most important awards in the world of oil, adheres to all standards of objectivity, with expert judges in selection and pairing who perform blind tastes and assess the oil according to their knowledge in the sector.
With this gold, the well-recognised Taste of Earth has earned yet another prize, to add to those obtained previously in different countries in Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East, attesting to the fact that Les Cabanes stands among the best oils in the world.
