The best extra virgin olive oil is, once again, Les Cabanes Taste of Earth from the Sant Isidre de Juncosa Farming Cooperative. The oil –awarded on multiple occasions– has yet again taken home the gold, this time for best quality, at LIOOC (London International Olive Oil Competition) 2023, held 28 to 30 May in London.
In recent months, it has also earned gold medals in New York and Japan and was voted best oil in Catalonia produced by a cooperative at the ESAO Awards, organised by the Superior School of Olive Oil.
Without a doubt, all these recognitions appraise the excellence of the best EVOOs in the world and the work which goes into producing a high-quality extra virgin olive oil.
This year, with the medal won in the United Kingdom, this exceptional oil has added four new laurels to those previously earned in various countries in Europe, the United States, Asia and the Middle East.
