Les Cabanes Taste of Earth, gold medal at the 2022 Olivinus International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition in Mendoza, Argentina

This EVOO can boast of nearly thirty awards

The Premium early-harvest extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) Les Cabanes Taste of Earth has recently been recognised with the Prestigio Oro distinction at the 2022 Olivinus International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition in Mendoza, Argentina. This EVOO has collected nearly thirty accolades from around the world since 2018.

The event, created to raise awareness on the benefits of extra virgin olive oil for health and nutrition, features the presence of the leading Argentinean and international experts who certify the best EVOOs according to their quality, as long as they present no defects or negative aspects. In addition, it is the top competition in Latin America and the second in the world –along with NYIOOC, TerraOlivo, EVO-IOOC, London IOOC and EVOOLEUM– on the EVOO World Ranking, and it is the oldest and most important international EVOO competition held in this part of the world on an annual basis.

It represents the first prize won by the EVOO Les Cabanes Taste of Earth in Latin America, an award which joins the other four obtained this year: ESAO Awards, Japan Olive Oil Prize, London International Olive Oil Competitions and TerraOlivo. Since 2018, this oil has been recognised with nearly thirty medals, a fact which attests to the work of all the Cooperative’s partners and employees, who clearly pursue excellence in the entire production process.
